Clothing Haul...

Hello you lovely bunch! Today I have a little clothing haul for you as my lovely Mumma took me out shopping and spoilt me rotten. I haven't done a haul for ageeees as being a student requires you to kind of get your priorities right and food becomes a bit more important than shopping... Ha! But, it makes me appreciate every new purchase just that little bit more.

So, we hit Topshop and River Island... My mum has amazing taste so she picked out pretty much all of this! Winner...

First we popped into Topshop - this is definitely my favourite clothes shop and has been for a long ol' time. I wonder if that will change once I can't have a student card anymore... hmmm. So, I picked up these gorgeous things after having my eye on pairs very similar recently. I love these beige, high-wasted, cropped, trousers as I think you can wear them with pretty much anything and anywhere! I can't wait to dress these up with boot heels, a black high necked top and a statement necklace or a pair of sandals with a cropped white/ cream tee. Perfect!

I'm mega in love with the waist on these as its ruffled effect is such a nice detailing especially if you want to tuck a shirt or top into them. The picture doesn't really do the fit of these any justice and they're super creased from being in the bag haha. I'll post a picture up when I've worn them :)

These weren't too expensive at £40 (£36 with student discount) as they will last and are super versatile. Love love love.

Next Mum spotted these gorgeous blouse vests in a load of different colours. She picked me out a blue one at first and I loved it in the dressing room so she popped and got me a black one too!! They fit so so well and feel fab on - I'm wearing the black one today! I got them in a size 6 purely so they don't hang too low on the neck line, they are perfect fit. At £16 each (£14.40 with student dis.) they are a must have!

I recently bought myself, back in London, a pair of Topshop's Ashley light blue denim shorts and have not been out of them since - they are so comfy, go with everything and have been perfect for the weather, I've been teaming them up with jumpers if I've got too cold too. Love them. Mum's seen me in them non stop since I've been back so she spotted a black pair, knowing I'll definitely where them! The fit of these is amazing as I find it so hard to find shorts and jeans/ any trousers for that matter, to fit perfectly without a gaping bit at my lower back. Love them!!

Next we popped into River Island on the hunt for some white jeans.. I'm convinced I do not suit white jeans however so I tried this pair on. I've already got a pair of River Island jeans as they are perfect fit for me. You know you always have that one shop that you finally find the perfect pair of jeans in... RI is my place! I've wanted some ripped jeans for a while too so these were perfect! However, they've put up their prices which I was a bit like GRR about and we don't get nooooooo student discount in there. But, hey ho Mario. You can pick these up for £42.

So there you have it you beauties... Little haul for you - updating you on what's new in my wardrobe! I fear we've had the best of our summer now so might be time to whack out the cardigans soon. The great thing about everything I got yesterday is they work with every season... WOO!

Love you all

Blogger's Top Recipes...

Anyone who follows me on Instagram will have seen a slight increase of the whole 'tweet what you eat' thing I swore I'd never start doing... Whoops. Well, the bug has bitten me and as a complete and utter, raging foodie, I love to share my culinary creations. Guilty as charged!

Being at drama school is tough to keep healthy as when you get home at 6:30 after a 10 hour day, all you want to do is slob about and order a take away. 1. I would become the biggest lump in the history of lumps, 2. My bank balance would be non existent, 3. I'd lack so much energy the next day. However, I found myself falling in love with cooking this year and not only that, but finding healthy recipes and completely changing my lifestyle when it comes to food.

I'm going to take you through a day of food in the like of moi and bung some recipes to go along with it!

The first meal of the day is without doubt my favourite. I sometimes (this is such a sad confession) go to bed excited to fall asleep so that breakfast will be here sooner... Wow. Just wow.
Anyway, it's not my fault! This recipe is so good I think anyone would be excited to chow down on this bad boy. I like to call this one Clean Cookie:

This gorgeous thing is purely made from:
1 Banana (mashed)
Whisked with 1 Egg White
Dash of Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
Dash of Cinnamon
1/3 cup of Oats
Dark Chocolate Chips
Microwave in a heat safe bowl for 1 min 45 secs
Pop some yummy Peanut Butter on top!

This beauty is so delishhhhh & I always make it the night before so I can whack it in some tupperware and take it to school the next day...

Boil Sweet Potato & Carrots for 10 mins and then drain and mash
Chicken Breast diced and browned in pan with coconut oil
Add honey and sesame seeds until sticky and cooked through
Serve on top of Spinach & other veg

This is a really satisfying lunch as you have your carbs, greens and something for your sweet tooth too!

This is one of my all time faves! I am a pizza adorer... I'm lactose intolerant though so finding a pizza for me is quite tricky. However, these much healthier Pita Pizzas are a dream come true.

2 Wholewheat Pittas
Top with Chopped Tomatoes OR Pasta Sauce
Add Chopped Peppers, Sweetcorn, Mushrooms, Spinach (any veg of choice)
Along with Tuna or Ham (any meat of choice)
Sprinkle on some Feta and Basil

Oven Bake/ Grill for 5-10 minutes

There you have it! During the day I also snack on 2 hard boiled eggs, rice cakes with peanut butter, nuts, banana, apple and maybe a dried dates bar like Nakd bars. Yum yum.

Clean eating can seem so scary to start with but actually it's so fun to have a massive meal and not feel an ounce guilty or think 'oh gosh, I need to work that off now' blahdy blah.

Give these a go and let me know how you get on.

Love you all

Blogger Update...

Hey wonderful ones; I'm writing to you from back home in Cambridgeshire now! I moved out of my London home on Monday for 2 months rest and fun back home for Summer break.

I thought this is the perfect opportunity to catch up with you all and let you know what I've been up to/ how this last 10 months of London Life has gone. I can't believe how quickly it's gone... Quite scary actually, haha. It has, without doubt, been the best year of my life and I'm so excited to keep training towards my dream career. Plus, London is such an amazing place to live. When I used to visit there with my mum as a teenager I'd always say to her how much I could see myself living in the city. I'm really lucky to have such supportive parents who've championed my dreams and helped me every step of the way.

So, this first year of drama school has been incredible. I went through a really hard time last year feeling like it was impossible to get into these schools as thousands of people apply and only 1% get a place anywhere every year. The odds are so against us. But, the very last school I auditioned for decided I was for them and I'm so grateful that this amazing school accepted me and have built me, supported me, moulded me and pushed me to become a much more confident performer, as well as a much stronger person!

The crazy thing about drama school is you never know what will be thrown your way next. In one day I played a transgender male, an invisible best friend and a psycho boyfriend-killing teenager.

The greatest thing about this year is the incredible people I've met and I'm 100% sure will carry with me through the rest of my life. I've laughed every single day until my stomach hurts. Also, they've helped me through some really hard times and been there to laugh with me through all the great ones. We had the end of year summer ball on Saturday night which was amazing! The third years decorated the hall like a fairground and we had a bouncy castle, popcorn, candy floss, photo booth and loads more. It was an incredible way to end the year!

I've never been in such a happy place in all my (almost) 22 years. Thank you to everyone who makes every day so special.

That's just a little update for you and I'll be back soon with some more beauty-related blogs!

Love you all
